Broadband Reflection Loss Arch (500 MHz – 26.5 GHz)

The Broadband Reflection Arch is the industry standard for characterizing aerospace materials across the most common microwave bands. This system provides a stable, repeatable environment for measuring Reflection Loss and extracting Complex Permittivity and Permeability through angled reflectivity data.

Wavelength-Driven Engineering

  • Antenna Versatility: Designed to host a variety of MWI antennas. The arch radius is optimized for wavelengths between 11mm and 600mm, ensuring a consistent “spot size” on the sample.
  • Stable Phase Reference: The rigid arch structure ensures that the distance from the antenna to the Net Table center remains constant, which is critical for accurate phase measurements at microwave frequencies.
  • Automated Scanning: Can be integrated with MWI robotics to automate the Angle of Incidence (AoI) sweeps.
