Ultra-High Band Reflection Arch (60 GHz – 125 GHz)

The MWI UHB Reflection Arch provides the ultimate platform for high-frequency bistatic measurements. At frequencies exceeding 75 GHz, wavelengths are as small as 2.4mm. This compact, ultra-precise arch allows researchers to characterize how materials reflect energy at the extreme end of the millimeter-wave spectrum.

Wavelength-Driven Engineering

  • Ultra-Precision Mechanics: Minimalist arch design to reduce any potential for self-reflection and multipath interference at microscopic wavelengths.
  • Antenna Synergy: Optimized for MWI’s V-band and W-band antenna sets, providing the smallest possible measurement footprint with the highest dynamic range.
  • Stable Reference Plane: Engineered to maintain a perfect focal point on the Net Table, essential for extracting complex dielectric data at 77 GHz and beyond.

Primary Utility

Critically important for automotive radar (77-81 GHz) material testing, 6G path-loss research, and the development of next-generation millimeter-wave absorbers.
